The Tri-Service Open Architecture Interoperability Demonstration (TSOA-ID) is a new and exclusive event for the media, acquisition community and industry influencers. Slated for Wednesday, January 29, 2020, the TSOA-ID is sponsored by Representative Commands from Branches of the United States Armed Services and hosted by Georgia Tech Research Institute at the GTRI Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Leading Open Architecture experts open the event at 0830 am followed by live demonstrations on: Systems Acquisition and Integration, Module Specification and Development, Conformance (qualification), and culminating with Open Systems Realization. Joining Tri-Service representatives in demos will also be industry vendors that represent Industry and Government partnership with: HOST, SOSA™, CMOSS and VITA Standards development organizations.
TSOA-ID is designed for guests to experience and witness a greater maturity and acceptance of OA development. With FACE™, as well as standards defined through HOST, SOSA™, CMOSS, several Army, Navy and Air Force representatives will demonstrate the ease of interoperability (exchange of hardware and software modules) which allows for faster incorporation of innovation and delivery of new capabilities (or replacement technology) to alleviate being forced into changing all components in an entire system. The growing market ecosystem achievement breaks decades-long barriers created by tightly integrated systems, thus allowing new capabilities to be transitioned orders of magnitude faster than the past.
